Food and drink
This template prepares six optional types of food information links that customers or compatible apps may need. You can create the product first and add a link to each type as your pages or documents become ready.
What is included right away?
Your required product page is the initial destination for an ordinary scan. This choice also prepares the six categories below. An empty category does not offer a link to visitors.
After you publish a link change, products with QR codes already on their packaging can use the new destination. You do not have to relabel products already shipped. The QR code itself stays the same.
The six optional links
You provide the pages or documents on your own public website. CodePersist stores their links, titles, and helpful descriptions. You can add several links for one category, such as pages in different languages.
Allergen details
Link to the allergen statement you publish for this product, whether that is a web page or document.

After you create the product
Open the product in your dashboard to connect each page when it is available. You can leave any category empty. A category can hold multiple links, up to four in this version.
You may select Food and drink together with other templates. Shared topics, such as instructions and safety information, are added once.
Technical detail
These categories use GS1 link types: gs1:allergenInfo, gs1:ingredientsInfo, gs1:nutritionalInfo, gs1:instructions, gs1:certificationInfo, and gs1:safetyInfo. A compatible app can request a specific type of link. CodePersist's resolver points to your resources; it does not hold the food facts themselves. See the GS1 resolver standard.
