Your organisation and team

Invite colleagues to share products and analytics in one organisation. Each person belongs to one organisation at a time. Open Manage Organisation from the app navigation to manage your team; Billing remains a separate page for Owners.

Choose the right role

Permissions build on each other: an Admin has all Member permissions, and an Owner has all Admin permissions. Plan features still apply to everyone.

  • Member: manage products and view analytics.
  • Admin: also manage custom domains and invite, remove, suspend or reactivate Members. Admins cannot manage other Admins or Owners.
  • Owner: also manage billing, rename the organisation, manage all invitations and roles, and suspend other Owners. Owners can do everything an Admin or Member can do.
  • You can have several Owners. An Owner can promote an existing user to Owner; invitation links offer Member or Admin roles only.
  • At least one active Owner must remain. You cannot remove, demote or suspend the last active Owner.

Understand your user allowance

Free includes 1 active user, Lite includes 2, and Premium includes 5. Owners count too. Suspended users remain in the organisation but cannot access its work. Pending invitation links do not reserve a user place.

  • Suspend a user to free a place, or upgrade through Billing. Reactivation requires an available place. Removing a user ends their association; their sign-in account remains.
  • When a downgrade takes effect, Members are suspended first, then Admins, newest joined first in each role. Owners are never suspended automatically.
  • If active Owners alone exceed the allowance, normal organisation work is blocked. Owners must use Manage Organisation to suspend other Owners while keeping one active, or upgrade through Billing. Other users must contact an Owner.
  • Upgrading does not automatically reactivate suspended users. Review them in Manage Organisation.
  • User limits do not disable already-published QR links. Product and custom-domain limits on a downgrade still apply separately.

Create and share an invitation

In Manage Organisation, choose a role and create a link, then copy it and share it privately. Member is the default. Owners can invite Members or Admins; Admins can invite Members only.

  • A link works once and expires after seven days. The first signed-in person holding it can accept it: it is not restricted to an email address, and CodePersist does not send an email.
  • Revoke an unwanted link from pending invitations. To replace one, revoke it and create a new link; share the new link yourself.
  • The inviter must still have permission when the link is accepted. A removed, suspended or demoted inviter may make the link unusable.
  • A place must be available when the invitation is accepted. Another person may take the final place before you accept.
  • Existing members cannot use an invitation to change their role. Ask an Owner to update it instead.

Accept an invitation or move organisations

Open the link, sign in, and review the organisation name and role before accepting. New users can join directly without first creating an organisation. Opening the link does not use it.

  • Joining another organisation moves your account; you cannot belong to both or switch between them.
  • Members, Admins, and Owners who leave another active Owner behind can move without deleting their old organisation or disabling its products.
  • Products, domains, subscriptions and other users stay with the old organisation. Nothing is transferred to the new organisation. Any API keys you created in the old organisation are deleted when you move.
  • If you are the last active Owner, the old organisation must be deleted as part of the move. Review the consequences below before continuing.

When the last active Owner moves

Every remaining product must be fully Disabled. Unpublished products, publication or removal in progress, and failed publication or removal block the move. Wait for successful removal before trying again.

  • The invitation preview lists the old organisation’s products, users and custom domains. Enter its exact name to confirm deletion.
  • Deletion removes its products, history, artwork, domains, API keys, invitations and remaining user associations. Other users keep their sign-in accounts and return to workspace setup or can accept another invitation.
  • Any subscription is cancelled immediately without an automatic refund. Open Checkout sessions are expired. No subscription or credit moves with you.
  • Once accepted, the move reserves your place and locks the old organisation while cleanup runs. Link expiry does not cancel an accepted move.
  • This deletion is available only as part of an invited move; there is no separate organisation-deletion action.

If a move is still pending

Keep the move-status page open or return after signing in. Refresh checks progress; Retry restarts a failed cleanup. Do not create another organisation to work around it. Your move finishes only after cleanup succeeds. If it repeatedly fails, contact support. A later downgrade at the destination can leave your accepted membership suspended; ask an Owner to resolve its user allowance.
